Marriage In Skyrim

Getting married in Skyrim is pretty straightforward. Head to Riften and find the Temple of Mara.

There, you’ll speak to Maramal, a priest that will tell you about the wedding process. Get the amulet of Mara and find any of the marriable NPCs you wish to marry.

Once you complete their quest, the dialogue option will appear. You can now propose while wearing the amulet and start the ceremony.

Of course, you’ll have to choose where to start your family.

The only caveat is that Maramal is not specific about the time of the wedding.

It usually starts at 6 am in-game, but just to be sure, set it as your active quest and wait at the temple one hour at a time until the ceremony begins.

If you happen to miss your wedding, you can talk to Maramal and your fiance to plan it again.

This will set the wedding for the next in-game day.
